Koji Wakita
Koji Wakita is the Leader of the Asian Geoinformation Reseach Group at the Instiute of Geoscience, part of the Geological Survey of Japan, AIST. He has worked for the Geological Survey of Japan since 1977, specialising in geological mapping, map compilation, accretion tectonics in Japan and Indonesia, radiolarian biostratigraphy and GIS.
Koji graduated from Nagoya University in 1977, and gained his PhD, again from Nagoya University, in 1988.
